Arm Skin Tightening
From around fifty years of age onwards, especially among women, the skin of the arms slackens, loses its elasticity and wrinkles develop, especially on the inside of the arms.
The operation can be performed under local anaesthetic with sedation; or under general anaesthetic. The patient is generally required to spend the night at the clinic following the procedure. This operation may be combined with other surgical procedures such as lipostructure or face lifting.
The resulting scar resembles the seam running inside a jacket and runs from the armpit to the elbow. Although not invisible, it is very well hidden on the inside of the upper arm. The initial redness of the scar should fade away during the following year making the scar more discrete.
